Young Designers of Iloilo

When I was still working with Robinsons we came up with an idea to create a contest for young Ilonggo designers ala Project Runway. Design Lab, as it's called, is now on it's 3rd run and has produced a lot of talents that are making waves in the Philippines and abroad. For example one was being considered for Mega's Young Designers Competition. The other one was competing in a design contest in Japan. Many of them are starting to make names for themselves, having their creations featured in local fashion glossies, having regular clients and weddings jobs at such a young age.

As one of their mentors I'm so happy that our little project has produced all these wonderful talents. I hope to hear more good news about them in the coming future.
